Conventional Block Pull Deadlift Video Exercise Guide

The conventional block pull deadlift is a variation of the deadlift and an exercise used to strengthen the muscles of the hamstrings, glutes, lats, and lower back.

By shortening the range of motion, as seen in conventional block pull deadlifts, you can overload the top portion of the movement. This can be especially helpful if you’re looking to build a bigger deadlift, but struggle at lock out.

Block pull deadlifts are mostly seen among powerlifters, but can be helpful for other populations looking to build muscle as well.
