2 Board Bench Press Video Exercise Guide

The 2 board bench press is a variation of the bench press and an exercise used to increase strength in the muscles of the chest, triceps, and shoulders.

Using boards allows you to overload the top portion of the bench press. This can be especially helpful if you’re trying to train the lockout portion of the lift but get stuck when touching the chest.

Board presses are primarily used by strength competitors and the powerlifting community, but can also be used by anyone trying to build a bigger bench press for whatever reason.
